(More customer reviews)While most members of my family like orange juice, it's much too sweet for my taste, so for a bit of extra Vitamin C, I opt for a fresh orange instead.
And when it comes to my juice drink, I've always liked the flavor of V-8. Not only does it taste good to me, since it's made from tomatoes and seven other vegetables--beets, celery, carrots, lettuce, parsley, watercress and spinach--it's healthy, also. While I get a hint of all those veggies in my V-8, the celery flavor seems dominant to me ... a flavor I love, incidentally. Whether this is unique with me, I have no idea. It's something I don't discuss with friends. All I know is that I can't help but smile as it slides down my throat. Yum ...
Another thing I like about V-8 is that since the kids in the family don't like it (sorry, Campbell's), I never have to worry about running out. But what I don't like about it is that it's high in sodium, thus requiring that I limit myself to 4 ounces every other day.
I know! I know! They make low-sodium V-8, but I've tried it and it's not for me. Just doesn't taste the same! However, in addition to my favorite, the Original, Campbell's also makes several other varieties: Spicy, Lemon, Picante, Low-Sodium, and Organic. I'm also a person who likes "lemon" flavor (such as lemon-meringue pie), so I plan to try the lemon soon.
There's something for everybody, so try it! You might like it! I certainly do! (Since I love the taste of this product so much, I feel guilty giving it a four-star, but I had to knock off one point due to the high-sodium factor.)

(So is anise toast), so when I found a bunch of it at a local drug store for a buck a can, I was happily surprised, and brought home six cans. My husband loooooved it, and asked me to go back and buy all they have. And he is one picky eater. Why is the good stuff so hard to find?

(More customer reviews)I had been looking for freeze-dried fruit since Cheerios started adding it in their cereal. All I could find, at decent prices, were the regular dried fruit with added sugars and very small bags of the freeze-dried berries. Now I use Honeyville's berries on all my cereals and the kids love it too. I also give it to my 10 month old and toddlers as a treat when berries are out of season.
The only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was that there was a lot of powder at the bottom of the can where pieces had broken down. However, the kids liked that on their cereal too!

(More customer reviews)These bars are great. Whoever has them for $99 must be kidding. Just got a box of 30 at Costco for $19. These bars are great. They are a softer fruit bar than the Clif Kids twists, and much better flavored. The PLUS bars have 2-1/2 servings of fruit and vegetable, the fruit is 2 servings. Either way, it is a great alternative to candy bars and who can't use more fiber? I was hoping Amazon would have them on their autoship program--maybe some day. No disappointments with flavor. Hope you can give them a try.

(More customer reviews)I was at first skeptical of other reviews stating their children liked these straight from the can as a snack...yeah, right. I stand corrected!! I originally purchased these (and the strawberries and the diced apples!) to be added to cereal and use for baking. Much to my surprise, they are SO GOOD, my children (ages 4 and 20mo) LOVE them as a snack! I would NEVER have thought this would fly with my kids as a snack...but they love them. My toddler especially. My older son loves the Strawberries and adds them to his cereal and oatmeal. I HIGHLY recommend this item. It seems a bit spendy, but you get a TON of fruit in the can for this price. I have had mine for about a month now, and we eat them EVERY day, and we still have over 1/2 the can left!
If you are considering purchasing, I HIGHLY recommend you do! You will not be disappointed!

Roland Dried Seaweed Nori, 1-Ounce Packages (Pack of 10) Review

(More customer reviews)I received this Nori from Amazon.com a couple of weeks ago and for the free shipping and subscribe and save deal, I figured I would give it a shot. Well, I am happy to report I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality of this Sushi Nori. This Nori is a lovely deep dark seaweed and very crispy/crunchy without being crumbly. I have tried quite a few brands of Nori from my local Asian markets so I am very familiar with Sushi Nori.
This Nori is 100% roasted seaweed with no salt or oils. You get ten packs of Nori and 10 sheets come in a pack, so you are getting 100 sheets of Nori for this price. If you choose subscribe and save that amounts to about $1.73 per package. This *is* a product of China.
The only thing that was a bit bothersome to me was that the Nori packaging has a ziplock type feature on the top of the bag which ends up making it hard to get your Nori sheets out without breaking some of the Nori edges off so I just cut the whole top of the bag off right below the ziplock edge and then keep it in the bigger bag that the ten packages were packed in by Amazon.com.
One of my favorite quick and low-carb snacks for using Nori is to spread a thin layer of Woeber's Sandwich Pal Horseradish Sauce on a sheet of Nori, add an even layer of fresh organic baby greens and half a can of well drained tuna with a few dashes of Bragg's Amino liquid [organic soy sauce] and then roll up like a Sushi Temaki burrito roll and eat! :)

(More customer reviews)Growing up, my mom always made oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, but at some point, the recipe was lost, and I was never able to replicate them with other recipes I found. Betty Crocker's oatmeal cookie mix replicates them perfectly, and the secret ingredient in this mix is CINNAMON. BC's Oatmeal Chocolate Chip mix doesn't have cinnamon in it, so I use this Oatmeal cookie mix instead and add 3/4 cup chocolate chips to it. They are so good! My husband, siblings, and parents all devour these cookies. Amazon's price is the best, better than my local grocery store.
** UPDATE ** I thought I'd try making these cookies as bar cookies, rather than scooping and dropping onto a cookie sheet. I used an 8x8 square Pyrex pan, kept the temperature the same, but baked for 23-25 minutes. I personally didn't think they were done, too much still like cookie dough in the middle, but my husband liked them and ate the entire pan, without getting sick, I might add. This is something I just thought those of you might want to know, in case you were thinking of making these as bar cookies. I'll use a 9x13 pan next time, I think they'd come out great.

I've tried every one of their choices but this bag is my favorite. The apples and apricots are nice and sweet and the peaches give a little tang. The fruit is also nice and crisp, not stale and bland. I recommend this mix highly. Kids love it too so this makes a great lunchbox snack. Also wonderful for road trips.

While it's true there is a bit less protein in this variety, there is significantly more fiber (6g vs. 1g for soy protein based flavors). Note: there's a definite spice here, it's not overwhelming, but it's definitely there... as the flavor implies.
