I'm not so sure that this item was designed for taking your lunch with you, because it is understandably heavy, due to the glass container. Overall a solid product that separates diverse leftovers and keeps them fresh prior to microwaving (the vented plastic lid is a nice touch).

(More customer reviews)This holds a lot of salad! It is wonderful for me, because I love my huge meal-sized lunch salads. I usually keep my dressing in a separate container (which fits in the main bowl) and put my crunchy ingredients in the dressing reservoir. Just because it's easier to wash that way. I've had this about 5-6 months and use it a few times a week with no issues to date. I have a couple other salad holders, but I like this one the best because it truly holds a salad that is large enough to keep me satisfied until dinner. The smaller holders tend to crush my large- portion salad ingredients together. My only issue is that I don't think the plastic is all that great. Meaning BPA and pthalates(?) and all those worries.

I don't find the flavor bland at all, but I also don't smoke or eat a lot of salt or sugar (things that can greatly affect one's ability to taste flavors). I don't add anything to this soup and enjoy it for lunch once or twice a week. The portion is just right. I wish it was available for subscribe & save.
HOWEVER, the lid sucks! I do spill a good tablespoon or so getting the lid to peel off and inevitably have to wash my hands and wipe off the counter. There's just no easy way around it that I can figure out. That is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. But the soup is so much better than it's competition that I still buy it regularly.

After adding a couple shakes of hot sauce on this I'm reminded of my days in New Orleans. Tasted very fresh. Next time I'm adding some shrimp and sausage and I bet it will taste pretty close to a good, spicy, Jambalaya.

Tasty Bite Peas Paneer & Basmati Rice Meal, Heat & Eat, 12-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12) Review

(More customer reviews)I read the other reviews and was greatly excited to order this entree. I have bought 2-3 varieties of Tasty Bite from my local Trader Joes. Most are decently healthy and all are easy and fast to make.
Peas and paneer, as an entree, is bland and without any heat/spice. I am a native Indian so I can handle relatively spicy food. However, this entree does not merit even a 2-chili rating (out of four).
As for food quality, I would suggest microwaving the rice and entree separately. Otherwise, the majority of the sauce seeps into the rice giving it a very unpleasant appearance. If you boil the pouches (an alternate option), you may have even more success. However, most of us buy these because of the ease of preparation, so boiling isn't a convenient option. The rice tastes and looks as it should.
Finally, I do recommend Tasty Bite Entrée, Jaipur Vegetables. I am on box nine of twelve and still not tired. This entree is MUCH spicier - closer to a 3.25 chili rating (out of four). I also favor this entree because it doesn't have the throw-away plastic container in each box. Moreover, you get 12-boxes for a better price than the 6-boxes for the peas and paneer.
I look forward to trying the other Tasty Bites, though I will likely sample the flavors at Trader Joe's before ordering another 6- or 12-box set. No more Tasty Bite purchases from the Gold Box unless I have already tried that particular flavor - lesson learned!

I try to avoid the Big Mac-, Whopper- and cheeseburger-lunch choices that leave me feeling like a drugged Grizzly Bear, ready for nothing more than an afternoon nap.
These soups are simple to prepare and only take a couple minutes in a microwave. After a couple minutes, stir the soup with a spoon and then run the microwave for another 1-2 minutes.
There's 480 mg of sodium in this soup but I didn't find the soup to be overly salty to taste.
I enjoy and recommend the following organic microwavable soups from Health Valley:
Tomato Bisque
Black Bean
Lentil
Spicy 3 Bean Vegetarian Chili

(More customer reviews)The potato is one of the flavors I'd probably buy again (if it goes on sale again). I found you have to follow the directions carefully though. When they say to stir after pouring in the water you better do it or you may end up with lumps. Also make sure to put a plate under it when microwaving because they can boil over. Otherwise no complaints other than being a little more expensive than other brands. Tastes like a decent quality potato and onion soup and it's fast to make and lightweight to carry.

(More customer reviews)The paneer cheese cubes (soft, lightly flavored cheese cubes) are one of my favorite accents in a dish, and Tasty Bite does an amazing job of them. The spinach is blended into the curry sauce, so there are no actual leaves of spinach, it is like a thick saucy stew with the cheese being the only chunks.
It is really delicious and well-flavored, but this dish kind of needs either a piece of bread (pita, french bread) or some rice to go with it to sop up the sauce. I eat them by themselves sometimes but the flavor is so highly concentrated that a little bit of starch to balance it out makes it a really perfect quick meal.

Lipton Cup-a-Soup, Cream of Chicken, 4-Count Pouches per Box (Pack of 12) Review

(More customer reviews)These are stocked in the snack room at work. I tried a few and thought they were pretty good, so I now have them at home for quick snacks. They taste about as good as canned soups, but calling them "soup" is a stretch. These are powdered mixes, so the soup is broth and noodles. I'm OK with that for a snack, but these would never be confused with stew or even real soup. ;-)
For me, the main attraction is convenience. They mix fairly well with hot water, but I use a small battery-powered blender to eliminate the clumps. This doesn't work so well for the ones with noodles.
My main concern is the sodium. I usually dilute it with at least 30% more water because it's just too salty. The calories are fairly low except for the tomato, which I found surprising. But I see that there's 13g of sugar in every packet. Wow!

These are my favorites in order of preference:
1. Tomato: This is pretty good tomato soup -- guess it's the sugar. ;-) And it's too salty.
2. Chicken Noodle with White Meat: The "white meat" is just a memory (no chunks), but still, it's pretty good. Too salty.
3. Cream of Chicken: Not exactly "creamy", but slightly thicker than the chicken noodle. Too salty.
The price is amazing. At $16.64 for 12 4-packet boxes, it's 35¢/packet. I usually use two for an afternoon snack/meal that will last me a couple of hours for less than $1.00. These same boxes are available elsewhere for up to twice this price.
I like buying by the case, but I wish they had a variety pack. They have a shelf life of about a year.
The 4 rating is because of the sodium. I would give it a 5 if it were lower.
