Shun Ken Onion Cleaver, 7-Inch Review

(More customer reviews)This is my third Shun knife and my second Ken Onion. They come quite literally sharper than a razor in that the edge lasts longer and it unbelievably sharp. I sharpen mine about once a month. Sending to Kershaw would take way too long. Blade is heavy and very thick, great for cutting through bone (which is why I bought it) but still sharp enough to slice through bits of skin. If you want the images to remain longer clean them with a gentle toothbrush or they will come off over time. Ergo handle very comfortable to use. Also have the 7" santoku knife with same handle. Look very attractive sitting on the counter and ready for action when needed. Love it!

Rival 2275-WN Electric Food Grinder Review

(More customer reviews)This is what I've learned from experience in trials and error. You should cut the meat in chunks smaller than the tube and you should partially freeze it otherwise it will clog from all the stringy stuff in the meat. It depends on your freezer and the temperature of the meat after cutting but I think between 20 and 40 minutes should be adequate. Experiment with the time a little. If it's not frozen enough, it will clog prematurely and if it's too frozen, you will damage your grinder. I have it down to a science and I can grind 20lbs cut up rump roast or chuck roast in about 15 minutes without it clogging.

Deni 14250 Premium Food Slicer Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this slicer hoping that I can use it for more than just bread and cheese.
Overall it is not bad, but starts sliding on the counter if you cut something dense such as hard cheese where you have to push harder. The machine is simply not heavy enough to give it necessary stability.
Also the motor starts smelling and "whining" if you cut dense items for several minutes.
Forget cutting vegetables (peppers, tomatoes, etc.) the food pusher just does not grab the item well enough and they slide off the platform, rotating on the blade. Kind of looks funny, but in reality it is annoying. It might work if you use your hand instead of the food pusher, but I'd rather not try it.
A plus is the aluminum casing and the design that is easy to clean. Otherwise, if you really want to use a slicer daily for all kind of items, you'd be better off to buy a refurbished commercial one.
I have to amend my comment - just one week after it's arrival it's already BROKEN, the blade grinds and makes loud noises whenever it turns. In addition the package did not contain a warranty card and Keystone Manufacturing Company requests this card to be submitted within a week.
SAVE YOURSELF SOME HEADACHE AND DON'T BUY IT!

(More customer reviews)The Outset F810 Grill Surface Thermometer is a fair product it does measure the heat of your grill but it does not adjust quickly if you move it from one location to the next... most likely because of the high heat it must take. It will let you know which part of your grill is the hottest and coldest, but again it takes a while to read the temp. I felt it was pretty accurate if left in one spot. I also used it to read my different temps for different gas settings.

This is a brand and flavor that my dog eats regularly, which we purchase from PetCo and have purchased in the past from Amazon. He has never had any problem with it until this case. Some of the cans were dented and I believe it must have been exposed to high heat or something. I've thrown out can after can that has caused him to be ill. I have waited several days before trying another can, and again, the same thing. He has been throwing up all day. I will never purchased canned food from Amazon again.
