(More customer reviews)It's about time! I have been wanting this for a long time. This slicer is nice and sturdy. It has blades, not wires!
I have been wanting something to slice mushrooms with. It always seemed logical to me that an egg slicer should be able to slice mushrooms, as well. I would buy egg slicers at the store only to have them break on me with the very first use. I never had even one make a mark on a mushroom. A mushroom! We aren't talking about rocks here. I can't imagine any of those pieces of junk cutting eggs either.
I ordered this one and I am happy! It is good and solid- metal with blades! It is much bigger than the grocery store garbage, too.
Did I mention that it has blades?!
I look forward to many years of service from this gadget.

(More customer reviews)I use this for hardboiled eggs AND mushrooms. It makes perfectly sliced mushrooms for easy sauteeing. It takes a few mushrooms to get the hang of it, but once you figure it out it is so much faster than slicing by hand!
It does a wonderful job on eggs and with the rotation option, you can make perfect egg salad in no time at all. A real bonus is the removable grid, it scrapes out all the bits left behind in the teeth so you can just lift it out and rinse it off.
A real time saver that feels sturdy and well built. I expect to use this fo r years to come. Love OXO products, I haven't had a bad one yet!

As a kitchen accessory, it works great for eggs, but is somewhat awkward to work with for vegetables. The opening in the top is a little narrow if you're cooking a lot of food.

Paderno World Cuisine Specialty Dough Cutter Sets Review

(More customer reviews)I thought these were standard size cookie cutters but they turned out to be rather small. For example, each cherry is about the size of a dime. They didn't say mini and there is an overall dimension of 12x9x3 so I thought they were bigger. They don't say cookie cutter and are labeled dough cutter so I guess I should have realized there was a difference. My daughter's dolls just got some new cookie cutters!
