(More customer reviews)I think it serves the purpose of a dish for a small child, however it's nothing special. My son, 18 months old, is still able to pick it up off the table and dump it out. I love to use it as a shallow bowl for cereal, where my son can scoop things from it easily, but for dinner it doesn't have compartments and thus all the food runs together in one pile.

This is especially good for me because I tend to burn the bottom of things. I highly recommend this spoon. I would preferr to have the handle be a little better engineered, but that is the biggest problem.

(More customer reviews)I have been looking for some knives for my wife since she basically had NO decent knives. I did a ton of research on various knives and was looking at getting her a good brand name knife. I looked at all the big ones Henckels, Shun, RH Forschner, Wusthof, Global etc... I even looked at a few deals I found on Ginsu (insert mockery and laughter from professionals against the overly commercialized knife brand here :-)...) I'm not saying any of these knives are bad in any way, they each server their purpose and every person (and person's hand) is different, that's why these brands have been around for so long.
I had to consider my wife though... She's not big on spending $400 on a set of knives that she has to send off (or take somewhere) to be properly maintained/sharpened, and a lot of times, doesn't want to spend her time after preparing food, hand washing the knives. Well, my mom (and several other co-worker's moms) have had Rada knives for most of their lives and swear by them. The biggest issue I had with them was the handles... I didn't particularly care for them myself... Then I found they had a new black composite type handle, specifically designed to throw in the dishwasher... This was PERFECT for what my wife wanted. I purchased this with the RADA sharpener and any time one feels like it's loosing its edge.. I pull it across the sharpener a few times, and it's good as new.
I know these aren't on the same level as the big professional brand names, but the cost/value for our house outweighed everything else I looked at. I would recommend this to anyone professional or not... Who DOESN'T need a few knives you can throw in the dishwasher every once in a while? :-)

The tines on this baby are really sharp, so I wouldn't get near non-stick with it, but it's fine with cast iron. Love it for lightly beating eggs, testing taters for doneness and removing them from the pot, turning pork chops, all the stuff my granny and mom used it for. Really nice price for a nostalgic and versatile utensil! (I even eat with mine, but ya gotta watch those sharp tines. You could get hurt.)

I love the fact that they are made right here in the United States by a well-established company. They have a Life-Time guarantee. And they are a GREAT PRODUCT FOR THE MONEY! The blades are as good as any of the Swiss or German manufacturer knives.
Be sure and get the Rada Knife Sharpener when you order. Although the Rada knives have been holding their edges very nicely so far, I have salvaged other knives in our kitchen with their great little easy-to-use sharpener!
I have not placed these in the dishwasher yet. We usually handwash all our cutting knives, so these are no different. But I do not have to worry if the kids are visiting and one or more of these get into the dishwasher inadvertantly (which is why I opted for the black handles instead of the silver ones available).
They do not have "heft" to them, but handle nicely (in my opinion) and cut divinely! This is a great little set for a housewarming or other gift also, so many people make-do with inferior knives that it would be a welcome addition to any home.

(More customer reviews)This is a very high quality piece of kitchenware, and I feel that it's definitely worth spending the few extra bucks vs. the cheaper versions that are available at most chain stores.
Previous to owning this product, I had gone through many pizza cutters of several different designs. Two of my previous cutters were similar in design to this item and each had fallen apart after about a couple of months of use. This product has lasted me about 3 years, and it bears no signs of imminent and/or catastrophic failure.
What led me to buy this product is that I received one of Rada's steak knifes as a promotional gift, and I was very, very impressed with the sharpness and look of the cutlery, so I ended up buying several sets of knives, and then later purchased several other Rada offerings, this pizza cutter included.
Some users have described issues with the brushed aluminum handle coating suffering discoloration following repeated uses and dishwasher runs over a long period of time. I've owned this piece for about 3 years, and have run it through at least 50 dishwasher cycles (at LEAST), and I haven't noticed any discoloration over time. However, this is only my personal experience (as a grad student who consumes a lot of pizza and doesn't wash things by hand if not necessary[as opposed to the dishwasher]). Maybe Rada will introduce a black handle version in the future for those of you with concerns...

Lodge Logic L5SK3 Pre-Seasoned Cast-Iron 8-Inch Skillet Review

(More customer reviews)I cook for myself, so this little skillet is the perfect size for 3-egg omelet in the morning, or veggie saute for dinner. I am a small to medium sized female w/ skinny arms, but this skillet is not too heavy so I can still lift it w/ one arm. It's not really non-stick because the eggs won't easily slide off the pan like they would from a good new non-stick pan, but it's much much better compared w/ my stainless steel skillets. As long as you soak the pan in water after cooking, by the time you finish your meal, the food residue can be easily washed off with a brush or sponge. I use a nylon dish brush with hot water and cleaning is very fast and easy. I never use soap or steel wool. Leaving a bit grease on acts like re-seasoning. This is the same way I take care of my carbon-steel wok. The only complaint I have is that the handle is way too short. The skillet is relatively heavy but even with my small hands it still feels as if the handle only fits half of my palm, so it forces your hand to hold it really close to the hot pan - really bad design. Though I use it everyday and find it indispensable, the short handle alone is why I am unwilling to give it a five star rating.

1) NOT made in china.... this is made right here in USA !!!
2) Dishwasher safe... because this is quality American stainless steel, it does not rust from the dishwasher like the chinese-made garbage. With ANY knife from china, even if it CLAIMS to be dishwasher safe, it will still rust or melt or have corroding rivets... but not with this American-made knife. It has been through my dishwasher several times with no signs of rust!
3) It is QUITE sharp! Just check out the customer image I uploaded of its aftermath! OUCH!
