This is especially good for me because I tend to burn the bottom of things. I highly recommend this spoon. I would preferr to have the handle be a little better engineered, but that is the biggest problem.

Those ones with blades on both ends are silly and possibly dangerous. I often use it to cut sections of large oranges as well as grapefruits. And it has a lifetime warranty. Very nice.

(More customer reviews)I LOVE THE SHARP SERRATED BLADE OF THIS KNIFE. IT IS OF GOOD SIZE, FITS INTO MY HAND PERFECTLY. THE ONLY PROBLEM I FIND IS THAT THE HANDLE IS NOT SATIN FINISH ALUMINUM, BUT RATHER A BRUSHED FINISH THAT CAN BECOME A BIT ROUGH FEELING IN THE PALM AFTER SEVERAL WASHINGS.

(More customer reviews)I've been needing a new paring knife and researched the reviews of several knives. I can't be more pleased with the quality of this knife. It is everything others have said: well balanced, super sharp, holds its edge. I also have to say that the black handled version is definitely the one to choose. I think it is the newer version and is an alternative to the brushed silver handle. Most reviewers criticized that handle for tarnishing. This handle does not have that problem, is solid (not plastic), and has a good texture for a secure grip. I would still not put it in the dishwasher - but that is just to help protect the blade. My only complaint is regarding the size. It is a 'super parer' which means it is a little larger than a normal parer. Its longer blade makes it awkward to use as a parer but it is too short to be a full function utility knife. My recommendation would be to buy the regular parer and then a second knife for the specific other tasks you have. These knives offer great value for the money so don't bother trying to get one knife for two tasks.

(More customer reviews)When I was growing up in the 50's/60's, every cook had a granny fork. When my mom passed, somehow I didn't get The Fork. The tines on this baby are really sharp, so I wouldn't get near non-stick with it, but it's fine with cast iron. Love it for lightly beating eggs, testing taters for doneness and removing them from the pot, turning pork chops, all the stuff my granny and mom used it for. Really nice price for a nostalgic and versatile utensil! (I even eat with mine, but ya gotta watch those sharp tines. You could get hurt.)

Knife and price would be ideal if the blade were longer. The entire knife is just too small for my hands.
Will pass them onto other family members. Disappointed, to say the least. It's not easy to find this shape knife.

(More customer reviews)I got this knife along with the Rada Cutlery Cooks Utility Knife, Made in USA, Dishwasher Safe Black Handle. Both of these are similar sized, one, slightly larger. And the knives are superbly made, well finished - the shiniest knives I've ever seen - and more importantly they simply work. It's unbelievably smooth, chopping vegetables and they look like they will hold their edge for quiet a long while.
The best part... the price. I've still to get over how little they cost.
One thing (of not much consequence): Having used expensive and heavier knifes, these (initially) feel extremely light and flimsy. That's a totally wrong impression one gets. It's a different and delightful story once we start using it.

The serrations are just right to make quick work of the outer peel of the pineapple. I also use it for bagels and homemade rolls. (More customer reviews)These are great little knives and I am planning on adding many more RADA knives to our household. First. I love the fact that they are made right here in the United States by a well-established company. They have a Life-Time guarantee. And they are a GREAT PRODUCT FOR THE MONEY! The blades are as good as any of the Swiss or German manufacturer knives.
Be sure and get the Rada Knife Sharpener when you order. Although the Rada knives have been holding their edges very nicely so far, I have salvaged other knives in our kitchen with their great little easy-to-use sharpener!
I have not placed these in the dishwasher yet. We usually handwash all our cutting knives, so these are no different. But I do not have to worry if the kids are visiting and one or more of these get into the dishwasher inadvertantly (which is why I opted for the black handles instead of the silver ones available).
They do not have "heft" to them, but handle nicely (in my opinion) and cut divinely! This is a great little set for a housewarming or other gift also, so many people make-do with inferior knives that it would be a welcome addition to any home.
