(More customer reviews)Unfortuantely, you purchased a cheap imitation food chopper. If you had purchased the Pampered Chef Food Chopper you would have paid more but it would have been well worth it. The Pampered Chef Food Chopper chops food with ease. It has durable stainless steel blades which uniformly chop veggies, nuts and even cooked meats in seconds. You can chop onions without a single tear. It also has a flexible cup which doubles as a chopping bowl. It's handier than a food processor and much easier to clean. It simply pops apart and you can rinse it clean in minutes. It's even dishwasher safe but rinsing it quickly is just as easy. Sometimes you just get what you pay for and unfortunately you got something that may look like the real thing but isn't. I love my food chopper from the Pampered Chef. It's worth every penny!

The Pampered Chef Rice Cooker Plus Review

(More customer reviews)I'm thinking that the negative review on this product MUST be because they have something wrong with their microwave. Maybe they have it set too high. You have to lower the power to 50% to cook the rice, so maybe they forgot to do that.
As for me - I will NEVER cook rice any other way again! I cook rice all the time for my family. I use brown rice in 70% of my dishes. I have a rice cooker (a good one) and I also cook it stove top.
First of all, a rice cooker is one more appliance that I'd rather not own taking up space. Also, it has to sit out on the counter to cook the rice, which poses a problem if you have limited space and need to cook the rest of your meal. I have always had a problem with the electric rice cookers spitting water out and making a watery and crusty mess by the end of the cooking process. They are just a pain in my opinion.
As for stove top - you all know how much of a mess THIS can make, and unless you have SUPER cookware, it never comes out quite right.
Now for the Pampered Chef rice cooker. We are currently staying with a friend while our new house is being done. I went to make rice one night and my friend offered to let me use her P.C. rice cooker. I was skeptical to say the least. I mean, come on - in the microwave? In plastic? It certainly can't be any good - especially for brown rice. I am so glad to say that I was so wrong! It cooked rice like a dream!
First, you put a 2:1 ratio water to rice in the cooker. Seal it up and put it in the micro on HIGH for 5 minutes. THEN you power it down to 50% and cook for 20-40 minutes depending on the type of rice you are using (standard time for any cooker). I have used this over and over and have not had one problem. the rice comes out better than you could imagine! Especially if you use broth instead of water. Clean up is a BREEZE with this. the rice does NOT stick to the bottom (like my pans and rice cooker does) and rinses out so easily. AND it's dishwasher safe! Seriously, what more could you want??? This product is amazing and Pampered Chef stands behind their products so you have nothing to lose!

Pampered Chef Micro Cooker Small Review

(More customer reviews)I have owned one of these for the past 15 years and it's still strong. The handle is convent if your a soup lover as you can eat straight out of the cooker. I have cooked ramen, steamed vegetables, made sauce, I even use this with ravioli and it works beautifully each time. The cover works like a steamer so your soups actually cook/reheat faster, the holes are also a nice strainer. It's easy to clean and convenient if you have kids because it's extremely easy to use and the plastic doesn't get really hot so it's easy to use for making themselves lunch or an afternoon snack. The best thing is the cover stops the microwave from being cover in stuff if the stuff start boiling. You can find some great recipes for this on the website .
GREAT FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS!

It makes peeling citrus fruits (mainly oranges) a breeze! no more orange peel bits stuck under your fingernails, no more trying to scrape off thick peices of peel that are hopefuly stuck to the outside of the orange. It really is a simple and USEFUL gadget.

(More customer reviews)I have been looking for some knives for my wife since she basically had NO decent knives. I did a ton of research on various knives and was looking at getting her a good brand name knife. I looked at all the big ones Henckels, Shun, RH Forschner, Wusthof, Global etc... I even looked at a few deals I found on Ginsu (insert mockery and laughter from professionals against the overly commercialized knife brand here :-)...) I'm not saying any of these knives are bad in any way, they each server their purpose and every person (and person's hand) is different, that's why these brands have been around for so long.
I had to consider my wife though... She's not big on spending $400 on a set of knives that she has to send off (or take somewhere) to be properly maintained/sharpened, and a lot of times, doesn't want to spend her time after preparing food, hand washing the knives. Well, my mom (and several other co-worker's moms) have had Rada knives for most of their lives and swear by them. The biggest issue I had with them was the handles... I didn't particularly care for them myself... Then I found they had a new black composite type handle, specifically designed to throw in the dishwasher... This was PERFECT for what my wife wanted. I purchased this with the RADA sharpener and any time one feels like it's loosing its edge.. I pull it across the sharpener a few times, and it's good as new.
I know these aren't on the same level as the big professional brand names, but the cost/value for our house outweighed everything else I looked at. I would recommend this to anyone professional or not... Who DOESN'T need a few knives you can throw in the dishwasher every once in a while? :-)

(More customer reviews)This is a great chopper, I use it to cut big chunks of vegetables for vegi soup, Tiny peices of celery, egg, and pickles for Tuna salad, minced onions and garlic for frying. I've had it for about three years now and it still chops like a champ ! I don't think it's that hard to clean, mostly I just take it apart and rinse it, but if it gets sticky it is dishwasher safe. I do most of my chopping with it and keep it on the countertop close at hand.

Wash the veggies, sprinkle seasonings over them and place in the microwave for a couple minutes. Let steam til desired tenderness (approx 3 minutes for me) and then serve. Fabulous every time. Easy to clean.
Also, this is great for making rice. Recommend to eveyone.

The Zyliss Easy Chop can chop and mince foods into the smallest of pieces with ease. The more you press, the smaller the pieces. Onions can be minced so finely that they are nearly undetectable by sight in sauces but still add desired flavor. And, onion odors are contained! The new design, however, means that I can no longer use the Easy Chop on my cutting board as I did with the older model. All foods must be inserted in the Smart Base before chopping. The rubber bottom on the Smart Base does help prevent slipping and reduces noise but I question how long it will last with repeated washings in the dishwasher. Only time will tell.
