(More customer reviews)These choppng mats work very well for the price. I was actually expecting them to be a bit thicker than they are, but I am nevertheless impressed with the quality. I have cut numerous vegetables and meats on them and they have not torn even though you can see cut marks on them. I like the fact that I can cut my items and pick up the mat and bend it for easier addition to the pan or storage bag. I will definitely buy these again!

(More customer reviews)You need to make sure that you have the "PRO S" version of this knife as Henckels has several 7-Inch Santoku knives with hollow edge and they had been shipping wrong ones in the past. However, they might have straightened out their act after I reported the mistake to their customer service. So, please, please make sure you knife says "PRO S" and has a twin tribal men on the logo.
As some of the previous reviewers posted (and some had been deleted), Amazon had been listing the wrong item here. Many people were purchasing the Henckels International Classic 7-Inch Santoku Knife with Hollow Edge, not "Part of the Pro S series of cutlery" as stated in the Amazon product review by Cristina Vaamonde or the "J.A. Henckels Professional S 7 inch Santoku knife with hollow edge" as stated in the Amazon product description. And even though the photo of the product shows the double Henckels men, the knife being shipped only had one Henckels man...another indication that it's not worth $74.99-$84.99 Amazon price or the $110.00 retail price it's listing. The International Classic knife can be purchased at Target, JCPenny and a whole bunch of other stores for the retail price of $39.99. If you paid $74.99-84.99 for the wrong knife, please get your money back!!!

(More customer reviews)These aren't the most durable, but they do last through quite a few uses. The colors are cheerful, and they work fine. Their thin shape makes them easy to store. You can even curl them in your hands to make a sort of funnel to easily dump the chopped food into a pot. Nice item, and a bargain. And you can clean them in the dishwasher.
Recommended, but with these limitations: (1) Because they are so thin, you don't want to put anything hot onto them -- they will warp. (2) Because they are so light, they can slide around the counter. These limitations eventually made me switch to much more expensive, thick, rubber-footed cutting boards -- but only after a long period using these with good results.
