(More customer reviews)This is just what I was searching for. Wire cheese slicers work the best for my family because we like the softer cheeses, but the wires do break after a while. I have a really nice cheese slicer that is branded Hamilton-Beach (which is no longer available) and when the wire broke I wasn't sure how to fix it. I got this result after Googling "replacement cheese wire". The photo looked like the end of my slicer so I decided to take a chance and they fit perfectly. Cheftools gave me really fast service and they had a nice selection, I also bought some other gadgets that I couldn't find in my local housewares stores.

(More customer reviews)I was very skeptical when I bought this product, but I hate to slice tomatoes and so I figured I'd give it a chance. I had hoped the slicer would work as advertised, but I suspected it would actually squash the tomato and make a mess. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it works wonderfully. The slices are uniform,the tomato retains its shape, and even the small amount of juice is contained within the slicer. You don't even have to take out a cutting board or wipe the counter afterward. I couldn't be more pleased with this product, and I highly recommend it. Just be careful when cleaning. It's very sharp!
