(More customer reviews)I recently had the misfortune to go on a diet which consisted of soup with the most awkward veggies to peel you can imagine...ever tried peeling a butternut squash ? Not easy I can tell you.
Whilst on holiday I was making butternut squash soup and racked through the kitchen drawers for a peeler, I came across this wee peeler, tried it and to my amazement it went through the butternut squash like a hot knife in icecream, I was amazed !! I said to my husband I'm either gonna steal this or try to get one on line...I managed to make out the lettering on the side, it said Swiss made, I set about searching and found the exact same peeler on Amazon !! Now I am the happy owner of not one but 6 swiss vegetable peelers lol, one can never have too many, only the best peeler in the world !! Thanks Amazon !

(More customer reviews)I must say that these peelers are the sturdiest, most comfortable, and sharpest peelers I ever used!! They both came with protective covers and for good reasons! These babies are sharp! They sliced through carrots and potatoes like a razor! They are made to last forever and probably will! For the price, I can't believe how well they are made! I have gone through a good many peelers and have bent the heck out of peelers costing more then these! I would be hard pressed to break these! The Swiss know what they are doing! If you want a great peeler for a great price, that only removes what you want it to, then look no further! I am a health nut and only eat organic foods and that means a lot of fresh veggies! I use this everyday!
