This is not a tomato sauce with mushrooms, but a mouth watering mushroom sauce whose flavor is based upon wild Porcini and buttery Shitake mushrooms. The garlic, sherry, cream, sage and tomatoes are notes that round out the flavor and complement and support the mushrooms.

It only takes 30 minutes to get them ready for cooking. They made a wonderful tasting broth for my stir fry. Would purchase again.

The texture is wonderfully hearty, the flavor exceptional. This company, Fungus Amongus, produces the highest quality products across the board. I've purchased dried mushrooms from many other companies, but their quality is the best. Should you have any inquiries, they also respond in a timely fashion. Also highly recommend the truffle salt and dried porcinis............best ever!!
