I was in the store recently and found the RSVP Endurance Oil Mister, which intrigued me. First of all, it was clear. Misto (I think) had a clear sprayer a few years ago that I didn't use, but this is a great idea because you know exactly how much oil to put in the canister. This is key because if you put too much in there's not enough airspace to create pressure to make the spray effective.
The best part of this sprayer is the spray itself. One of my complaints about the refillable sprayers is that the cans you buy in the grocery, like Pam, have a reliable spray mist, while the pump sprayers I have used in the past are kind of wimpy, with a spitting and spurting that doesn't allow for even coverage. The Endurance has a good strong spray mist. Not quite as good as Pam, or other spray cans, but more than good enough, considering everything saved by having a reusable spray can.

(More customer reviews)I've been on the hunt for a good olive oil dispenser to stay on the counter, and this is the best I've found so far. I was concerned that the rate of flow would be too slow, but I find the narrow stream an advantage, especially when filming a skillet or making a vinaigrette. Easy to use and comfortable, it also looks good on the counter.

The clever design of this dispenser ensures a drip-free pour. It has a vented lid with a recessed spout, so excess olive oil drips back into the container, rather than down the outside. The spout is narrow and pours in a fairly thin stream. This is a very functional olive oil can. It holds 3/4 liter of oil. The lid removes easily and the flared top offers a wide funnel-shaped opening for neat and easy refilling. It keeps oil fresher for longer by blocking out the light. Manufactured in Spain from 18/10 stainless steel.

Oil Dispenser With Measuring Tube Review

Cons - be careful! I lifted mine up by the neck and the neck came OFF!
It is NOT securely attached to the base (pear shaped part). Oil
went everywhere as it fell to the floor. BUT I was determined,
washed it all and CRAZY GLUED the neck (baster holder part)
to the base (pear shaped part). I recommend that you don't ever
lift it by the neck! What a horrible mess that was - and
very unexpected as I thought the unit was all one piece - it is
not. Oh, yeah, don't expect the baster to hold all the oil
well until it gets to your salad - plenty of "drip potential"
there so always move whatever you are moving the liquid to right
TO the oil dispenser! Do NOT put this item near your oven or
range or anything that an accidental drip from the baster or heat
would melt the dispenser/fire hazard. Hard to clean as oil
naturally would be from plastic. I do not know if dishwasher
safe / does not feel like it...?
Tip: Do not fill it up all the way up to the neck. If you do the
baster part gets all oily (or whatever is in the base). Only
fill it to the fill line.
Conclusion - TERRIFIC item. Just a few cautions / but works great and
the measuring part is a MUST. DO BUY THIS - you won't
be sorry at all...just be cautious with it in all ways.
I AM very happy with mine / even if I have crazy glued the
neck to the base - its a keeper! I expect tupperware
or equivalent to come out with an improved $-ier version.
Until then, try this. Carefully.

(More customer reviews)Stylish, maybe...but sadly, this is not only the worst product I have purchased on Amazon, it may bethe worst product on the market for this purpose. SO< DO Not BOTHER. A waste of money, time, and highly frustrating. You will spill less if you pour out of a tablespoon into a pan. No, you might have more control straight from the bottle with a thumb to break the flow! There always is a residual dollop of oil that collects on the lip, which runs down the spout faster than you can catch it. We resorted to putting it on a plate which quicky becomes a dticky mess and dries to form an attractive ring on the bottom. There is no control whatsoever in used. In order to pour, you must almost invert the thing, and invariably the lid winds up in the pan. It certainly is not made of any stainless material I have ever encountered. In a week, it was dented from a tap against the pan.
It was purchased when my daughters "Oz" play "lost" my good one. I will search to the grave to find it because this one was such a collossal disappointment...even at the low price. Got it for Christmas and box got tossed, but it was here I would have returned it before New Years!
Caveat Emptor times 47!
If you want mine you are welcome to it. NOT KIDDING But I would feel bad about giving it away to you. BAD KARMA
