(More customer reviews)But usable. It's different in the fact that it's very small and as an American I am pretty much accustomed to the peelers that are turned to the side. This one zips right down the vegetable so you better be really careful with the edges of your palms. It's smaller than it appears and it's plastic, kind've hard to get a good grip on it but like I said, it's different. Doesn't mean it's bad. Hopefully it will last a while. :)

(More customer reviews)When I first looked at this peeler out of the box I thought it seemed kind of cheaply made. But I started to peal a carrot with it and man it works great! It is so sharp and slices so wide that it peels in a flash. It is a really light weight plastic, with SHARP peeling blades. I will be buying only this brand of peeler from now on, I am amazed at the difference. And I love the color.
