GOURD: Plant gourds if for no other reason than because they're fun! They come in a delightful, wacky array of shapes, colors, and sizes and are sure to bring a smile when you harvest them. Many will grow up fences and trellises, which makes them even more interesting and dramatic.
Cannonball Gourd: Easy to craft. The Cannonball Gourd is perfectly round, ranging in size from 4" to 6" in width. As shown on the front of the packet, many techniques may be used: plain, varnished, staned, or painted. Create your won beautiful, decorative collection.
Garden Tip: For best germination nick the seed and do not plant in wet, cold soil. To harvest, cut gourds from the vine about 1" above the fruit.
Drying Tip: Pick gourds when entire vine is dry and brown. After harvesting, gourds should be cleaned with soap and water, dried, and rubbing alcohol applied to the surface. Handle gently and turn weekly as gourds dry in a warm, airy place. Do not cut or decorate until completely dry and seeds rattle.

Products arrived in a timely manner. I am not sure what they gave me. If they sent 4 different gord seeds in a plain brown envelope I couldn't tell. They were all in the same packet. The instruction ,one page, only explained that I should or would need to know the specifics of each seed or plant to sucessfully grow them. I was disapointed to say the Least.

Birdhouse Gourd: A perfect haven for your bird friends. This attractive and functional gourd can be dried and left in its natural state or decorated with your own personal touch. Pick gourds, when the vine is dry. Allow the gourd to dry in airy, warm location. Drying is complete when the seeds rattle inside. Dipper Gourds can grow on trellis or on the ground.
