(More customer reviews)I purchased two sets and keep them in my One-Bag-At-A-Time reusuable grocery bags so theyre always available. They have cut way back on my use of plastic bags. I like the sizes, just would have liked one gigantor bag for large heads of greens and lettuce. Easy to clean.

(More customer reviews)I just started using these bags, and I've only washed them once (regular cycle + hang dry), so I can't testify to their long term durability, but I love them so far. They didn't shrink much when washed. I know from today's shopping trip that one bag comfortably holds 6 very large peaches, and I think I could have gotten about three more in there if I had tried. They're also very lightweight, which is a big concern when you're buying produce by weight.
EDIT: 4/27/08 I still use these bags about once a week and I wash them after each use. They're still in great condition.

(More customer reviews)I am all for saving the planet one less plastic bag at a time and this is a way to get the ball rolling. I have many reusable shopping bags but i always ran into the issue about fresh produce. What to do with all those clear plastic bags that i could not find recycling centers that took number 4 or 7.
Someone else thought of this and took it a step further. Not only do they solve the produce bag issue, they are made from recycled plastic making this a full circle. I have used them for every food shopping trip since i have had them.
They wash easy with dish soap, scrub brush and just let them dry. I am not sure how long they will last, i will update when i have to get new ones. All in all a great product and I would love if more people got these.

I have been taking my own reusable grocery bags for a while and always felt bad about still using plastic for produce. They are holding up well so far and wash well. You can see through the bags, so the grocer can see the tags easily when making your purchase. The last time I was at the local natural grocer, the checker asked again where I got them and wrote the name down. They may want to carry them in the store, since they get asked for something like this often. By the way, the Flip & Tumble Reusable Tote - Brown grocery bags are great, too. I always have one in my bag so that I am not often left without a reusable bag.

They close and open more easily than plastic bags and reduce all the pesky waste of the plastic bags. I highly recommend these.

But I don't recommend using the Orka Hook that's displayed with it. It's useless and cheap.
