(More customer reviews)These were versatile and are nonstick. The major problem I found with them is that you cannot turn the skewers 45 degrees to evenly cook them. There are grooves in the rack and they automatically turn back to the original position. SO to correct the problem you have to turn the meat which then chicken will become too loose and fall off. I don't know if I would purchase them again. You can use them without the racks but that kind of defeats the purpose doesn't it?

(More customer reviews)These look cute online but they are very wide and difficult to skewer into things. The ends are dull and they look pretty cheap with metal remainders on them around most of the seams. All of that wouldn't be so bad if they did not rust the first time I washed them (I didn't even let them soak or anything strange, soap and water and drip dried in my dry rack). Do not get these, they are cheap and difficult to use. If you saw them in person, you would walk away, even at Amazons price.

(More customer reviews)These skewers are flat, non-stick, and have a sharp point on the end for piercing the food. Because they are flat, foods don't roll around on the skewer. The non-stick coating makes it easy to remove the cooked food, and cleanup is easy. These fit nicely laying flat in the dishwasher, and I don't have to scrub food residue off of them. Compared to my last set of stainless skewers, these are a great step up.

(More customer reviews)I requested and received this as a Christmas gift. I used it yesterday in the BBQ to hold marinated pieces of beef and lamb. They did a good job of holding the meat in place so that it would not spin when I flipped the meat. I used metal thongs to grab the handles to flip the meat, thus the fact that the handles are much too hot to handle was not a problem. The only problem occurred when I was using a fork to pull the meat off the skewers. One skewer pulled out of the handle. I pushed the skewer back into the handle.
