(More customer reviews)As long as you use this product right away, it's fine. I have used it on numerous outdoor and indoor plants with success. A word of warning: Do not mix up a batch of this and attempt to store it. The mixture will turn rancid within a week and at that point it smells like raw sewage. Whatever you mix up you need to use immediately.

(More customer reviews)Although this unit will not perform like the crank models that cost 3 times as much...it will be fine for smaller area applications like roses or potato patches, etc. ...just expect to do some shaking of the unit while pumping in order to keep the duster primed. The large fill mouth is a real plus! I am not much of a plastic fan, but this unit feels stout and it will not corrode like the old tin units used to.

(More customer reviews)I've only been gardening for a few years, and this is the first fertilizer I ever used. A few days after applying this product, all of my "struggling" garden plants seemed to get over their iffy stage and just took off. I have a very finicky ivy geranium in particular that was struggling for a year and now it's gorgeous. I went to the nursery recently for more fertilizer advice and they told me not to use miracle gro because it's full of unnatural chemicals, and gave my an organic dry fertilizer instead. I've definitely noticed that my plants had fewer blooms and growth with the new fertilizer, so I switched back and couldn't be happier. But minus one star for it's chemically-ness.
