(More customer reviews)Just wanted to counter balance the bad review by someone who must not have done the math when they read the product description. I love my petite casseroles, I have half a dozen of them. They are perfect for baking individual entrees or desserts for people. I make baked apples or pears in mine, as well as baked peppers, roasted garlic and the like. With these you can cater to what people want in terms of types of fruit or vegetables, how much butter, what kind of sugar or spices. You just can't do that in a large dish.
They hold up to lots of washing and even being dropped without so much as a scratch or any fading. I love my petite casseroles. Just be sure you know what to expect when buying something this size...

(More customer reviews)I couldn't believe my good fortune when I finally found this dish. It is impossible to find a SQUARE baker with a lid anywhere and Amazon came through (well, Le Creuset, too). My primary use for this wonderful baking dish is making the infamous "No Knead Bread" in it. With its square shape it yields a loaf that is perfect for sandwich slices. It is easy to clean and can also be put in the dishwasher. I am very happy with it - there are numerous uses for it!
