Where on this product did it ever say it was vegetarian? You're the only non-clued in person in the world who isn't aware that a 'pint' of collard greens (as opposed to a 'bunch') usually contains HAM. Plus, why are you even buying food off the internet? If you're such the little 'concerned citizen', go patronize the local grocery store.
You sound like a terribly annoying person.

Collards are great source of Vitamin A and a mystery to some since they only grow in a small region of the country. Rest assured, there's nothing scary about this leafy green that is at its best just after the first frost of late fall. We chop them up, season with meat and bring to a boil. When done right they are a light, juicy compliment to any main dish. Jazz piano great Thelonius Monk (born in Rocky Mount, NC) was said to wear a collard leaf in his lapel for some jam sessions - now that's one cool vegetable.
