(More customer reviews)Ever since Diazinon was banned I've been looking for an effective way to remove the mass amounts of ants that appear all over my lawn. I've tried Triazicide concentrate and the pellets with only minimal success. I then picked up Sevin and used it just the other day. I went out there to check for ants and there was no noticeable change. Avoid this and Sevin if you have a lot of ants in your yard you're hoping to remove them. Heck at least Triazicide offers to give you your money back if it doesn't work...now I just got to go dig up that receipt...

The only problem I have is our hard water, it plugs the hose after one season. I think it's a fine product otherwise. I use to purchase it at WalMart but they no longer carry this product.

Anyway, it does an excellent job for me peeling potatoes fast and making holes at the center to cook faster after I cut them in sections and look nice too. I use it frequently. I really do not have an issue with it taking off much of the potatoe body. It works great for me.

I ordered it and realized once it came in that no tomato seeds come with the kit. No where on this site do I see a note that the seeds do not come with the planter. I then reviewed the product on other sites, only to learn then that no seeds come along with the kit. Now, I have to go out and buy the appropriate seeds for the type of planting I will be doing.

(More customer reviews)I plant these each year in my garden and they always produce wonderfully tasty, crispy radishes. Plant them early in the spring, and then every 2-3 weeks for continuous crops. I avoid planting them in the heat of the summer, as they lose some of their texture and flavor. Perhaps I am not watering them consistently? They tend to crack when the weather gets hot. I consistently have good germination of the seeds - very reliable. Plant them about 1 inch apart and then as they sprout, thin the plants to one every 2-3 inches. They can be harvested after 4 weeks of growth, but can be left in longer for additional size. The radishes have deep red skin with white inner flesh. They are not particularly strong tasting (hot). I love them plain or sliced on salads. This one is a winner!

We are talking quick slicing through a big round loaf of levain (whole wheat). When I got the tool in the mail, I was weary about how thin the blade is. Then I used it. I have been slicing tomatoes, so thin, as the old commercial used to say of those other knives, that my in-laws quit staying for more. It cleans easily and stores well. What a good investment!

I give only two stars because of the deceptive description; it's cheaply made; and the shipping was significantly more than the cost of the item.

Weird; but I use to have a rotten stomach all the time and within a week or two of using the pillow...gone. Not sure what that is about or if it is a coincidence but I don't think it is. I would not stop using this pillow.

You might expect cleanup could be a problem, but usually allow it to soak in dishwater while enjoying dinner and it cleans up in a flash.

Soil Mender Compost Tea Gallon Review

(More customer reviews)I make compost tea regularly, and a friend told me to check out this product. I have not tried it, but I have extreme reservations about any bottled compost tea product because of the unstable nature of a brewed compost tea. When I brew a compost tea, it must be used within a few hours of brewing. What happens is: the beneficial microbes in the tea are aerobic. Once oxygen is no longer being added, and/or the food [mostly molasses, but also rock dust, kelp etc.]is consumed, the batch will ALWAYS start to breed little nasty, stinky anaerobic bacteria. Those are some dangerous critters. Some can be human pathogens. The add for this product is repeatative, has some good sounding ingredients, but is, nevertheless-compost tea.
Compost tea has produced fantastic results for me, but it must be fresh! It is also really cheap to make. I learned everything I know from a great book....Compost Tea Making: For Organic Healthier Vegetables, Flowers, Orchards, Vineyards, Lawns
