(More customer reviews)ive been wanting to try this for a while now, but was unwilling to buy 10 packages until i had tried it first. the other day, much to my surprise, i saw it on an endcap in wal-mart so i decided to grab a pack (and one of MTR's jeera rice) and give it a shot...
its wonderful! the urad dal is cooked just right, its got just enough kidney beans (some places put too many in for my taste) and its at the nice creamy consistency that i really like. not the very best dal makhani ive ever had, but easily as good or better than in most restaurants. this 10-pack is also significantly cheaper than it is at retail (and WAY cheaper than dining out)...
if you want a fast, cheap, and most of all TASTY indian dish for an easy-to-prepare lunch, you cant go wrong with this...
