(More customer reviews)I discovered these in a restaurant, or actually several restaurants in the same area, although none would say where they got the chilis. One finally brought the jar out. They are pretty hot and great in soups and pasta. They don't change the flavor as much as the vinegar based sauces which is the best feature. There are times when the vinegar taste is ok, but times when it doesn't work, so these fit right in. You do have to tear them apart to disperse through the dish, but they're pretty soft. I guess they could be added while cooking, but I've never tried them that way.
