(More customer reviews)I'm not sure what the problem is with anyone who gives these a low rating. My guess is some people just need lots of salt to numb their taste buds. I found these to be delicious, without all the salt that regular jerky gives you. You get 780mg of sodium per 3 oz. serving, which is about 33% Daily Value. I know that the other brands will give you a whooping 96% Daily Value of salt per for 4 oz. This is also a low carb snack, which is only 8g (or just 3% of daily value.) 40g of protein is a number that is tough to beat. It also gives you daily values of 19% potassium, 20% iron, 25% zinc, 25% niacin, 15% copper, 25% of B6 and B12 and 30% phosphorus just to name a few. While texture is not the softest, it is also not the hardest -- You will need moderate teeth to chew.
