(More customer reviews)This is a very big composter. It is 3 feet 8 inches tall with a base of around 2 1/2 feet. This could be a problem if you are short to lift the bucket of stuff up you dump it in. The lid does not have a little hatch or hinge so you have to lift it off, and set it down, to put stuff in - not to difficult. There are four doors to get compost out and there are not as many air holes as indicated so it gets hot inside easily.
Good company - product came quickly with all pieces in good shape. Be sure your ground is level or the composer hooks to put the sides together will get out of line.
From a price per gallon of compost it is a good deal.

(More customer reviews)I ordered this compost bin from Amazon to replace one damaged in a fire. It arrived on time, as usual, from Amazon. I emptied my old composter into this one once I got it assembled and set up. Everything went fine, the assembly was easy, but when I added water to the compost, one corner of the composter came apart. The locking cams that hold the corners together would not hold. Rather than empty it and send it back, I drilled holes in the sides of each corner and tied the faluty seam back together with heavy duty tie wraps. I went ahead and tie wrapped each of he corners just in case. Now I have a pretty good compost bin and I feel it will last a long time. I like the design so I guess I'll keep it. If the corner were designed stronger, I would give this compost bin a 5 but sense I had to do the extra work to make it sound, a 3 is more than good enough.
