(More customer reviews)This canned eggplant has good flavor and is excellent in baba ganoush. We sometimes have difficulty finding plain roasted eggplant. The value is good and although it is not often that we need a full 6.28 pound of eggplant at once it does freeze well. We parcel it out in quart bags and it works quite well for us.
There is a bit of salt in this product so we find that we need to reduce the amount of salt in the recipe we use.
